Time flies, and it has flown as we are going towards the final of the biggest league in the world. This time its Delhi Capitals vs. Mumbai Indians; the two best teams of the tournament are going to lock horn in the biggest match of the competition. Dubai International Stadium will host the match, and it will be live from 07:30 PM IST onwards.
Delhi Capitals
Delhi Capitals have been superb in the tournament; they had a blitzing start in the tournament. Then suddenly, it seemed that they will get out of the tournament as they had lost a few matches in but they bounced back as every big team does, and now we can see them in the final.
Capitals have got the best combination of batters and bowlers, and they only need to take their current form to the next game to win it. Their last game against Sunrisers Hyderabad was a good one, and they were up to the mark in all aspects of the game.
Their batting performed well the experiment to send Marcus Stoinis with Shikhar Dhawan proved in their favor. The rest of the batsmen also fulfilled their responsibility, and a very good piece of news for the Capitals fans is Hetmyer’s furious knock. West Indian star played an innings of 42 runs and consumed only 22 balls which is a very good sign for the team.
Their bowling department is also flying as Rabada, and Nortje is always lethal and both of them have a serious pace which can destroy any batting lineup in no time. The only concern for capitals is going to be pressure handling as they have already lost from Mumbai; if they can absorb pressure, they will be proved a difficult chapter to learn for Mumbai Indians.
Mumbai Indians
This team has been performing from the start of the tournament. They qualified for the playoffs as the number 1 team, and they qualified for the finals with a thumping win over the Capitals. They require a team effort for the last time in this tournament to go through.
Mumbai was flying even when their captain was injured, and though Rohit Sharma did not make so many runs; his presence puts pressure on the opposite team. All of Mumbai players are in supreme form and there are very few chances that Mumbai to make any change to their lineup in the all-important final.
They have got all departments covered as a team; their batsmen can play the ball to perfection and hit anything out of the park while their bowlers can shatter the stumps in no time. They only have to put a bit of pressure on Delhi Capitals and the final will be theirs.
