As the summer transfer window came to a close at 11:00 PM last night, we focus on all the last minute deals in the English Premier League. The most significant transfer of the day was the loan signing of the highly regarded Colombian striker Radamel Falcao by Louis Van Gaal’s Manchester United from Monaco.
The biggest signing ever in British football history was also made in this transfer window with Angel Di Maria coming to Manchester United for almost 60 million pounds. Maria Balotelli’s signing for Liverpool was also quite important. Interestingly, West Brom made more signings than any other club in the Premiership signing 11 players.
