The Teams
The tournament will follow the format used in the 2019 Cricket World Cup, with ten teams participating. These will be the top seven teams from the ICC One Day International (ODI) rankings, plus the hosts India, and two teams from the ICC Cricket World Cup Super League.
The Super League, introduced in 2020, provides a clear pathway for associate nations to qualify for the World Cup and has added a new layer of excitement and unpredictability.
