IPL 2017, if anything, has been unpredictable. After Delhi Daredevils crumbled to their lowest score ever and lost to Kings XI Punjab by 10 wickets, most people had written them off. They were supposed to capitulate especially since they were without their captain Zaheer Khan.
But what happened was sensational. Delhi Daredevils have won theor last two games spectacularly, thanks to superlative batting by their young batsmen – Rishabh Pant, Sanju Samson and Karun Nair, supported by their overseas all-rounders Corey Anderson and Chris Morris. They beat Gujarat Lions by seven wickets and Sunrisers by six wickets.
Mumbai Indians are flying high at #1 in the IPL 2017 points table, having beaten RCB by five wickets in their last game and beating Gujarat Lions in the Super Over.

In the last game played between the two sides, Mumbai Indians had reduced the Daredevils to just 24 runs for the loss of 6 wickets, before the Delhi side recovered because of fine knocks by fast bowlers Kagiso Rabada and Chris Morris to lose by a more respectable score.
Both Rabada and Morris will soon depart for international duty after this match, so this will be the last game for them in IPL 2017. They will be very badly missed, as they have been both sensational in this tournament. Morris has impressed with his all-round prowess and Rabada has been the pick of the fast bowlers in the IPL. He has been genuinely quick and has troubled all batsmen.
Zaheer is closer to fitness and could comeback if everything works out well for him in the fitness tests. If he doesn’t play, Karun Nair will stay as captain.
For Mumbai, Harbhajan Singh will be back after missing the last game through injury. Krunal Pandya got injured after landing on the ball in an earlier match, one does not know if he will be back as yet.
